We collect and use information only as needed to provide the service you ask for, run a reliable website, communicate about orders, and meet legal or security obligations. This notice applies to enflowers.com and the customer-facing flower-delivery pages linked from it. It should be read together with our Conditions of purchase.
Who we are
enflowers.com connects people ordering from overseas with local florists who prepare and deliver flowers near the recipient. For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, email [email protected]. We will use reasonable steps to verify a request before disclosing or changing personal information.
This notice describes our current website and order workflow. If a destination market or payment service has additional local privacy terms, those terms may also apply to that specific interaction.
What information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may receive your name, email address, sender phone number, account details, order history, delivery date, payment status, and the messages you ask us to print on a gift card. Account passwords are processed for sign-in and are stored as protected password records rather than readable password text.
To deliver an order, we also receive the recipient's name, phone number, city, address, and useful access instructions such as a building, office, hotel, hospital, floor, or room. You may also provide information in a support conversation, including your name, email address, order reference, and the question you send to our team.
We collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as request details, security events, browser information, and cookie values. We do not ask the checkout form to store full card numbers or payment passwords.
Why we use information
We use information to:
- prepare, route, and deliver the order to the address you provide;
- send order confirmations, payment updates, delivery updates, and support replies;
- create and secure an optional customer account and show order history;
- validate checkout details, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and protect the site;
- administer discounts, points, delivery-date rules, and other order settings; and
- send optional offers or seasonal reminders when you have chosen to receive them.
We do not use private order details to build a public profile of you. We use information for the purpose it was provided for, compatible service operations, legitimate security needs, or another purpose permitted by the law that applies to the interaction.
Who may receive information
We do not sell or rent customer information. We share only the information needed for a specific task, including with the local florist and delivery personnel responsible for the order, our customer-care team, hosting and email providers, and payment providers when a payment is processed through them.
Service providers may process information only to provide services to us, protect the service, or comply with our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of customers, florists, or enflowers.com.
Information about recipients
When you send flowers to someone else, you are responsible for providing recipient information lawfully and for a genuine delivery purpose. We use those details to arrange the handover, contact the recipient when needed, handle access requirements, and resolve delivery questions.
Please avoid adding sensitive information that the florist does not need. Recipient information is shared with the people and service providers who need it to complete the delivery, and is not used for unrelated marketing without an appropriate basis.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, send order aftercare, maintain account and order records, handle complaints or disputes, protect the site, and meet accounting or other legal obligations. The period depends on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymise it, or restrict access to it where practical. Some records may need to remain longer when a legal claim, security investigation, or statutory retention obligation requires it.
Your privacy choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, provide a copy, correct inaccurate details, delete information that no longer needs to be kept, restrict or object to certain processing, or stop optional marketing messages. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
Send a request to [email protected] from the email address connected with the request when possible. Tell us what you are asking for and include an order number only when it is relevant. We may need additional details to verify your identity and will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Security and external links
We use access controls, protected password handling, request validation, CSRF protection, and rate limiting appropriate to the features we operate. No website or transmission is completely risk-free, so please use a unique password and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account or order activity.
The site may link to payment providers, messaging services, florist resources, or other websites operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are separate from ours. Read their notices before submitting information to them; we are not responsible for their content or data handling.
We may update this notice when the service, law, or data practices change. The current version and its effective date will always be shown on this page. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
